We loved our stay and will come back! The hosts were great, and there were plenty of amenities and treats. At night the villa was beautifully lit and had a look unlike anything else on offer in Archanes. It was spotless, too, with really unique architecture.

We never got the chance to judge the room or facilities. On arrival, after 10pm because of our flight, the entry code we’d been sent that day didn’t work. Once we worked that out, there still wasn’t a key. We messaged, got no reply, then called. A kind neighbour took pity on us, otherwise we might have had to sleep in the car. We were told the owner was in hospital and the housekeeper hadn’t followed the instructions. We understood why the owner couldn’t answer, but the key should have been left, or a second contact number given as backup. The owner did refund us, and we found another place for the rest of our days in Archanes.

We spent four lovely days at Vin Dimora. The rooms were beautiful and had everything we needed, plus a bit more. The location is great, right in the centre.

We loved our stay. The host went beyond what we expected, from the design and overall feel to the pool, comfort, and cleanliness. There’s so much more to praise.

Great architecture and amenities, and a fantastic place to stay. We’ll definitely book it again on our next trip to Crete.
