Archipel Mansion Sleeps 8

Our group included people of different ages and some with mobility concerns, and Archipel Mansion suited us very well. The villa isn’t fully accessible: there are a few steps from the car drop-off, and there’s no wheelchair access. But anyone able to walk short distances, perhaps with a cane, should have few problems. Two bedrooms are on the main floor, with only one or two steps to reach them, and the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and terraces are all on that level. Vans can pick you up right at the villa for tours, which made it possible for everyone to enjoy Santorini. Constantinos took care of van arrangements to restaurants, towns, and dinner, and helped us organize cars and tours throughout the stay. He also explained our access needs to drivers and restaurants. The daily breakfasts Nadia and Joanna served were delicious and made us feel like family. We met the owner too, who seemed sincerely interested in making our trip a good one. For those without mobility concerns, Fira is a lovely short walk away. The villa is on the northern side, close to local shops and restaurants, and higher up on the island, with great caldera views. The terrace looks out across almost 180 degrees of the caldera and neighboring towns. We stayed in late April and early May 2023, and the trip was incredible. The villa was spacious and private, with better views than the smaller places in town that we saw.

The breakfast service is absolutely worth the splurge. Every morning the spread was fresh, delicious, and beautiful, and we often packed leftovers for our afternoon outings. Nadia is warm and lovely, and tidies up each morning, which felt like such a treat. Konstantinos knows the area well, is very sweet, and can plan a whole vacation in a heartbeat. Take his recommendations, you'll be glad you did. Our group of seven was very comfortable and so well looked after. The house and grounds were bigger than expected, with four patios including the studio area. Every room was spacious, with plenty of storage and room to spread out. I've never had such a relaxing, beautiful stay. We'll definitely be back!

We got a welcome drink and an introduction to Santorini with suggestions for what to do. They arranged dinner reservations for our large group at one of Fira's best restaurants, plus Mercedes van rides around the island and a day trip to Akrotiri and private wineries. Breakfast had lots of choices each day, and the place was cleaned daily. They even handled all the laundry for our group. The location felt safe and convenient. What an incredible experience, highly recommend!

Nadia and Konstantinos brought us a traditional Greek breakfast at 8 a.m. sharp every morning, and the villa was spotless thanks to Nadia's daily cleaning. Konstantinos may be the best concierge on the island: he can book a driver door to door and set up tours for much less than you could arrange yourself. He can sort out a whole week in a moment. Highly recommend for a trip of a lifetime.
