The restaurant was clean and tidy, and we really liked the food. During the day, waiters brought drinks and snacks out to guests, which was a nice touch. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and they did a good job clearing towels from the large pool beds when people had reserved them. Some evenings had no entertainment, though, so guests ended up sitting on the loungers around the pool. The music by the pool and in the restaurant also got repetitive. We arrived for a week on the 1st of July this year. Staff carried our cases and showed us to a room with a shower over the bath. I was worried about my mum climbing in and out safely, so I asked reception the next morning whether we could move to a room with a shower cubicle. They understood and found us a room across from the main hotel, which we accepted. I was concerned that there were no handrails on the stairs down to the lobby toilets or on the stairs up to the rooms. If you want a quiet holiday to relax, this hotel could suit you, though I'm not sure I'd return to this particular resort. Thanks to all the staff for being friendly and working hard.
The food was amazing, with plenty to choose from, and the rooms and other areas were exceptionally clean. We came back yesterday after staying nine nights, and we'd definitely return. The reception staff showed us to our room when we arrived. Elena, the restaurant manageress, was especially lovely, always pleasant and friendly, and went above and beyond to help with any requests.
The staff were accommodating, the pool area was lovely, and getting into town was easy, about a five-minute walk downhill. The food was hard to fault, apart from the stray cats pestering guests. Poolside service was good, though there were no lifeguards. Our room's swim-up pool was tiny, so we used it less than we'd hoped. The room itself was otherwise nice, but the ensuite was small, and the thin walls let through noise and cigarette smells. The hotel is let down by some of its facilities. There was nowhere to change, no shower by the pool, and no place to leave bags beside reception, which practically forces you to pay for late checkout if your coach leaves later. The pool itself is pleasant but small. The lunchbox was disappointing: one vegetarian was given a ham sandwich, and another box was missing a sandwich. Entertainment was pretty good, but only ran four days a week. The trips were good but overpriced. Only the rep seemed to know much about the buses, and trips didn't include food. The lunch bags were unreliable too.
We loved our stay from September 16th-23rd. The hotel looked clean, modern, and stylish, and there were lots of shops less than a minute away, plus plenty of lovely bars. I highly recommend Solesea and Three Sixty. Some people we spoke to said they ate out because they felt the hotel restaurant had few options, but my boyfriend and I enjoyed the food. It was fresh, tasty, and well prepared each day, and as a vegetarian I had no trouble finding things to eat. The restaurant bar staff were all so lovely, and the rest of the team were amazing and kind. A big thank you to our cleaner Violetta. She kept our room immaculate and made sure we had fresh towels and bedding daily. She was truly lovely. The difficult part of the stay was an issue with our room assignment. A young gentleman showed us to the wrong room, which we couldn't have known was incorrect. At 10:30 at night, Kornela and another staff member came to our door angrily asking how we'd got into the room and blaming us. Kornela said she'd taken us to our correct room earlier that day, which wasn't true and seemed like she was covering herself. We would have been completely fine moving rooms, since mistakes happen, but being spoken to as if it was our fault was shocking and gave the holiday a very negative start. We went to reception for the new key card for the room we were supposed to have. Kornela then spoke with the man who had shown us to the first room and apologized, admitting it was their mistake. I found that bizarre, since how could we get into a room without a key? 🤍
