Anavalos

With its wonderful bay view, this is the kind of beautiful place you want to return to. The owner is easy to approach and very helpful. I'd recommend it to anyone who appreciates comfort, professionalism, and class.

You can spend the day by the pool or, even better, the sea, and just take in the blue sky, blue water, and quiet. Anavalos is a little place where it's easy to unwind and lower your blood pressure. Yatzak, the owner and handyman, is there to help with whatever you need and will do his best. Kivery is only a few minutes away, and beautiful Nafplio is a 25-minute drive, with many small countryside places around too. A lovely spot for a few quiet, relaxing days.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are amazing, and the hotel sits above the sea with the Greek hillside behind it. Absolutely beautiful. We'll definitely come back.

We loved unwinding by the pool and beach, and borrowing the paddle boards was nice. Breakfast was delicious, and Kiveri has informal dining nearby, with more options in Nafplio. We also spent a morning at Mycenae. Our family of five stayed in the two-bedroom Zakynthos apartment and the Euros room, both thoughtfully furnished, with lovely balconies. Anavalos is a wonderful boutique hotel, made especially lovely by Jacek and Sylvia and their family, along with Roxana. They're delightful and interesting to talk with, and eager to make your stay as good as possible. We'd thoroughly recommend it.
