De Bosset Apartment 1

We loved looking out over the harbor from the balcony, especially with coffee in the morning or wine later on. The apartment was a lovely size for my husband and me, with a comfortable bed, a nicely finished bathroom, and a great shower. We also enjoyed relaxing on the sofa and watching TV. The kitchen would have been handy for a longer stay, though it was already useful for making coffee and tea. Thanks, Makis, for giving us such a lovely place to enjoy Kefalonia.

We found it easy to get around from this quiet neighborhood, with the pedestrian zone only a few minutes away on foot. The two balconies let us choose sun or shade. The apartment itself was new, modern, clean, and very comfortable, and communicating over WhatsApp was relaxed and straightforward. A great place to stay in Argostoli.

The owner kept the full payment, even though our conversation had already made clear that the room couldn't fit two people and that I needed a larger space. I had confirmed that the booking wouldn't work, and I thought that exchange should have been enough to cancel it. I noticed I was only 20 minutes past the 2:00 PM cutoff for a partial refund. The owner could have cancelled and returned at least some of the money, but chose not to. That felt greedy and showed no compassion or basic understanding. Spend your vacation money at a place that deserves it.

The host was great, and the apartments were lovely and well serviced, with everything we needed. It’s a convenient spot near amenities, while still being quiet. We’ll stay here again.
