Emma's Studios

For what we paid, the room was really poor. There were random tubes sticking up from the floor, as you can see in the pictures, and the double bed was just two singles pushed together and very uncomfortable. Our shower also broke during the stay. We came with a group, and unfortunately our room and bed were by far the worst.

The pool was beautiful, with lots of sunbeds and cushions, and the apartments were clean, simple, and Greek in style. Our kitchenette had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor space was generous too. It’s peaceful here, though you can walk to Lassi in about 20 minutes or to central Argostoli in around 30, with a big hill on the way and magnificent views from the top. The nearest supermarket is a 15-minute walk, while a restaurant and bar are right next door and didn’t bother us with noise. On a longer walk into Argostoli, we passed little coves, beaches, and tourist sights. Constantina/Tina, Theresa, and her husband were all warm, welcoming, and fun to chat with. We’d love to come back 😍

That little cove a minute from Emma's studio is well worth the short climb down. It was brilliant for snorkeling, and I even swam alongside two huge sea turtles. Absolutely magical. The western side of the peninsula also has lovely beaches nearby, and Argostoli is an easy walk if you don’t mind a hill and get those lovely views. We enjoyed a few nights here. The setting, view, pool, and room were all great, and Tereza was lovely. She even offered us a lift to the bus stop on our last day. The cleaner was lovely too, though I’m embarrassed that I can’t remember her name. Please ignore the recent malicious reviews. They’re part of a smear campaign by some unruly guests who didn’t like being asked to be quieter at night. Don’t hesitate to book here.

The pool is lovely, kept very clean and tended to daily, with a canopy area, beds, pillows, and parasols. Emmas is about a 15-minute walk from Lassi and 10 minutes from Kalamia beach. I stayed here six years ago in one of the smaller apartments. This time I had the former family home beside them, which was very clean and spacious. Tereza was helpful and accommodating. We arrived late, called her, and found a key left for us with the apartment lights on. She also said we could reach her anytime. I’d definitely return.
