After days exploring Samos’s beaches and eating well, Aphrodite Samos Suites in Kampos was a lovely place to come back to. It’s peaceful and away from the busiest areas, but the beach, tavernas, and other conveniences are still an easy walk away. The grounds are well kept, and the pool, surrounded by greenery, has a great feel. I enjoyed cooling off there or relaxing with a book and a drink from the poolside bar. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the mattress and pillows were so good that I slept like a baby. We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains, a lovely sight to wake up to. The staff, Giani, Giorgos, Vicky, Fyllio, and everyone else, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It’s family run, and that personal warmth came through. They were always smiling and happy to suggest places to see and things to do. A real home away from home and a great base for a quiet, relaxing trip.

This hotel gave me wonderful memories of Samos. After walking each morning, it was lovely to swim in the clear sea right in front of the hotel. Giannis, Wicky, and Christina, thank you for your genuine hospitality and service.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel that made us comfortable right away. The staff were so friendly, always greeting us with a smile. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for a pleasant, comfortable visit.

Our holiday in Greece was ruined by this hotel. We booked eight nights, from August 7 to 15, but only stayed the first one. The patio door opened onto the pool and bar and was broken, a fault the staff themselves confirmed. It wouldn’t shut properly, so we couldn’t rest. The hotel wouldn’t move us to another room. The manager also refused to refund the seven unused nights, even though they knew my wife, son, and I had moved elsewhere. That feels like a complete failure to honor the booking. We’ve sent two emails since then and still haven’t had a reply. There were other problems too. The rooms are tiny, the staff unfriendly, and there’s no indoor breakfast area. Breakfast was served in a messy sort of garden under olive trees in 35°C heat. There are too many issues for me to recommend these “Aphrodite Suites,” which are suites in name only. Don’t be taken in by the nice website pictures. Stay away.

The beach is nearby, the area is lovely, and there are plenty of tasty restaurants around. We had a wonderful time here and will be back. The beds were very good, and everyone seemed to make an effort to keep us comfortable. Giannis the barman and Cristina, who cleaned our room, made the stay especially nice. They were always smiling and had time for a little chat.
