Ionian Studios

We’ve stayed here three times now with our two young children, and we’ll be sad to leave tomorrow. The apartments are nice, good value and close to beaches, shops and restaurants. The location works well even without a car, though we hired one and travelled around much of the island. Our little boy was stung by a jellyfish, and the landlady gave us cream to help him feel better. The host is excellent and always happy to help. The pool is clean, and the children loved practicing their swimming there.

Valetta and her family are lovely and know a lot about the island and transport. My room was spacious, well equipped and very clean, and the pool and breakfast area were clean too. Breakfast had plenty of options. The apartments are about a 500m walk from the main strip, though some of that route wasn’t well lit at night. I visited 9-16th October, when most places were closed, so perhaps the lighting would be better when more are open.

Violetta made the apartment feel like home, and she, her family and the other staff made us feel comfortable throughout our brilliant stay at Ionian Residence. The location was fantastic, just a short ride from Argostoli, with lovely beaches and restaurants a short walk away. There’s plenty to see and do with excursions or a hired car. We had a lovely holiday and would choose Ionian Residence again.

The room was fantastic, with a kitchenette where I could have cooked if I’d stayed longer. There’s a supermarket up the road, a lovely pool and a beach nearby. Violetta was so friendly and helpful, and my very late arrival was no problem. The price was very reasonable too. Perfect for me, and I’m going back in 2 weeks.
