Casaly Hotel & Spa

The staff were attentive and caring, and made us feel like family in what felt like a luxury villa. The food and the hotel's overall quality were exceptional. I've stayed in plenty of five-star hotels, and this boutique hotel has been the best of them. Already looking forward to coming back.

The staff treated us like family from the moment we arrived, and breakfast was a big part of why we felt so welcome. Even when we turned up at 10:58 or after 11, though breakfast was supposed to end then, they encouraged us to sit and eat instead of turning us away. There was a huge choice, with food freshly made in the restaurant kitchen. Dimitri’s and the rest of the team were wonderful. The massage spa and therapist were 10/10, and the prices were very affordable. We'd chosen the original boutique hotel, a few buildings down from Casaly, but our flight from Athens was delayed and we arrived very late. Spiro met us outside and directed us to the Casaly valet. We didn't know what was going on at first, then he explained they'd had extra room in the luxury hotel and were upgrading us for free. It blew us away. We'd already visited four different islands in the Cyclades before making Kefalonia our last stop, and the service, beaches, and food here were the best of our whole trip. Spiro and his team have earned a customer for life. I'll confidently recommend them and hope to be back next year, after our Greece trip this year.

The swim-up design room made for a peaceful, luxurious stay, and we'd recommend it to anyone. We spent four nights at Casaly and were impressed by how carefully everything was looked after. Our room was cleaned several times each day, always to a five-star standard. Breakfast was outstanding too, with a lovely selection of fresh food and eggs cooked to order from an extensive menu. The care and attention were unmatched.

Katerina at reception and Dimitris in the restaurant made our stay especially memorable. We were celebrating my 60th birthday and our 33rd anniversary, and they made both feel special. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, more than five stars in every way. We can't thank them enough and will definitely return.
