Saint George Resort

Everything was perfect here. It's a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and the location works well for exploring the island. This is a very good resort run by a Greek family, with kind and hospitable people working there.

We were offered a free crib for our 8-month-old, and there's a large pool for days when you don't feel like going out. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including vegetarian options, and the rooms were cleaned and the linen changed daily. The lovely family running the hotel made us feel welcome: the wife and grandma were very kind, while the man and uncle were friendly and helpful. There's even a cute goat facing the room, which we really liked. The hotel is in Archangelos, centrally placed on Rhodes, so the main tourist sites are roughly 20 minutes to an hour away. Stegna beach is only 8 minutes away and is amazing without being as crowded as the famous beaches. I definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Rhodes.

We spent 4 days here while visiting Rhodes and had a really great time. The family who owns the lovely hotel were very helpful, and the location made for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning was ice cold and we slept really well. I'd definitely recommend it.

The pool was the only part I liked. The whole place had a really uncomfortable vibe, and the girls there were rude. On our arrival, they wanted to keep our passports for the week in an unlocked drawer. Their child took one and had fun throwing it around. They seemed shocked when I refused, even though a passport is valuable. On our last day, an iPhone charger was missing from my room. They said they hadn't been in to clean and used that as proof it wasn't them. Either they weren't doing the cleaning I paid for, or they were pretending not to so they could steal from the room. Insane vibe.
