Arta Palace Hotel

The pool was clean and really nice, and my room was cozy and tidy too. The lady at reception made the stay even better, she welcomed us with a lovely smile, had a great sense of humor, and brought us pool towels straight away when we asked.

The water slides by the outdoor pool were a real highlight, and the staff were friendly. The hotel itself was very clean, too. It did feel a little dated, though, and some basic things didn’t seem well maintained. Breakfast was poor, very basic and low quality for a hotel that’s meant to be four stars. It didn’t feel like one.

The rooms are spacious and seem fairly new, but some basic comforts are missing. Window blinds, for instance, would be an obvious one. It’s a huge hotel, perhaps designed for weddings. The pool was still closed for the off-season, though it could have been kept in better condition anyway. Breakfast was basic, and rooms aren’t cleaned every day. I’d put it somewhere between two and three stars, definitely not four.

The room itself was reasonably clean, but the pool and other shared areas weren’t. The place had an abandoned look, and service felt poor, maybe because there weren’t enough staff. For some reason, reception wouldn’t give me the air-conditioning remote. Breakfast was a little below average.
