We were glad to find good restaurants along the street on either side of Aphrodite Apartments, with the sea and beach literally across the road. It’s just outside the noisier downtown area, so it’s much quieter. My wife and I are seniors and stayed two nights to rest during long international flights. It was just right for our tired bodies. The apartment was very clean, updated, and nicely furnished. It was too small for much luggage, but laid out well and had all the amenities we needed. We left our big bags in airport storage. We didn’t meet John, but he sent efficient texts and photos showing how to get our keys. There was also a short, clearly written set of rules on the table. The bathroom and shower were a big plus, modern, better than average, and everything worked. There was plenty of hot water in mid-November. The bed was in great shape and very comfortable, especially the thicker pillows, which suited us as side sleepers. There were other pillows in the closet. We couldn’t have been happier and would gladly return.

We loved staying at Aphrodites. It’s right across the street from the sea, and having coffee with the sunrise each morning was great. The space worked well for simple meals and for relaxing when we weren’t at the beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by, and Rafina port is handy for a short stay before or after island hopping. It’s about 20 minutes by car from Athens airport and 45 minutes to central Athens. Thank you 😃

We had a great time, it was wonderful in every way. John was a helpful, responsive host and such a gentleman. The property was very clean, well furnished, and didn’t need a thing. We’ll definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

The beach is literally across the road, and it was wonderful to just walk over and get in the water. There’s a bucket of water by the front gate lock for rinsing sand off your feet. Right next door is a great authentic Greek mom-and-pop restaurant, where we ate all three days. Past that, there’s a bakery where we got coffee cake for our morning coffee. Definitely worth booking!

The road noise slowly blends into white noise and never bothered our sleep. The penthouse terrace has a terrific view, and there are lots of great cafes and restaurants around. We recommend Enalio.
