We were stranded when our 4am Transavia flight was cancelled at Athens airport, so we urgently needed a nearby room. The host answered our call in the middle of the night and had space for two. He was kind and welcoming, and later let us spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden since our replacement flight wasn’t until 6pm. He also arranged a taxi. The room was basic, clean, and practical, just what we needed. It can be a bit tricky to find and is off the beaten track, but it’s peaceful and convenient once you’re there. We were glad to find it at the last minute, especially with our travel plans changing unexpectedly.

The team at Artemis stayed open late when our flight was cancelled and we were stuck at Athens airport without a place to sleep. They welcomed us, found us a 4am taxi, and were very kind and accommodating. We’d definitely recommend them.

I was traveling alone and felt safe in the big, comfortable room. For the price, it’s a really good deal. Breakfast is self-serve, with coffee, tea, toast, cheeses, and orange juice, and it has what you need. The owner can order dinner for delivery and call a taxi. Just be sure you have the address handy, as taxi drivers around there can be difficult and grumpy.

We stayed at two five-star resorts on our trip, but this was the place we liked best. It’s handy for the airport and gives you a chance to be around local people if you’re visiting as a tourist. The hosts are wonderful, make you feel at home, and look out for you. The beds are comfortable too. Highly recommend.
