Skyros Blue Suites

Very clean, in a great location, with amazing hosts. The best place in Skyros! Definitely recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time on this beautiful island. The excellent hosts made our stay in Skyros even better. The rooms were very neat and clean, well equipped, and in an excellent location. Highly recommended!

The hosts, Tzina and Lefteris, were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived to perfectly clean accommodation, and it stayed that way throughout our visit. The woman who handled room cleaning was friendly and smiley, and gave us some lovely tips about the Island. There was enough room in both the bedroom and living room. With its minimalist design, it felt modern while still fitting a rural Island like Skyros. The rooms were bright, with a large balcony door and mosquito net doors. The kitchen made it easy to prepare breakfast or another meal, which was handy for a quick snack or drink from the fridge when we were on the beach. There was a Nespresso machine for first thing in the morning, too. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the island style wardrobe had plenty of space for everything we brought. The location felt just right. It was five kilometres from the port and five kilometres from Chora. A 24/7 mini market across the street had literally everything we might need during our stay. One minute away on foot was Lambros, a local restaurant with awesome local-cooked food, a calm atmosphere, and old Greek songs playing in the background. Prices were very reasonable and portions huge. Don't miss this gastronomic experience! A few minutes' walk away there was also a beach bar open at night, a real pearl of the aria. A short path led to the beach, just one to two minutes away. It's in a bay, where the water was much warmer than in other parts of the Island. The hosts provided wooden private sunbeds that were very comfortable, along with wooden umbrellas, with each set matched to our room number. The sandy beach was very clean, with smaragd cristal waters, and not crowded. It felt like a real piece of heaven for relaxing. There was an outdoor shower on the way back to rinse off the sand. If you're an early morning or late-night kind of person, you might even have the whole beach to yourself then. I didn't take pictures of the accommodation because it looked exactly as shown on the internet, but I do have some pictures of the Island if you're unsure whether it's right for you. Both Skyris Blue Suites and Island Skyros are extraordinary vacation choices. Everything was more than perfect!!!!!!

The suites are stylish, new, and clean, with quality linens and towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The owners clearly put a lot of personal work into the whole property, paying attention to details inside and out. There’s lots of parking in the well-kept front yard, and they give you a remote so you can make sure the garage door is closed. One of the island's best beaches is just a 20 meter walk away. It’s an unspoiled public beach, apart from the numbered umbrellas and sunbeds provided for guests. Across the street is a 24h super market, and two of the island’s best restaurants are each a 2 minute walk away. Getting hold of the head of staff is easy. She gives you her mobile number, so you can call or message about anything you need, and usually someone is on the property anyway. We had a very pleasant stay, and it was excellent value for money.
