Blue Note House

The booking was cancelled a month before check-in, after I'd booked six months ahead for a week in August, the busiest time of year. I contacted them to arrange the remaining payment, and they said maintenance work was planned. When I asked what that meant, they never replied. I got a full refund, but had to scramble to find somewhere else for the six of us, even though we'd all booked flights. On the original check-in date, I stopped by on the way to our new villa. The only work I saw was the cleaner stripping beds for the next guests. Honestly, we may have dodged a bullet. The place looked dark and stuffy, with a tiny pool, and sits up a hillside that would've made hauling our cases in the blazing heat miserable. Assos itself was packed with tourists, one of the busiest places we visited on the island.
