We loved our week at Querini Presidential Suite at GrandeMar Astypalea. Everything from the airport pickup to Maria’s warm welcome made us feel at home. She’s quick and reliable, and just a WhatsApp message away for arranging drinks, rental cars, excursions, and other things. The suite was spotless, beautifully furnished with sustainable Greek design pieces, and supplied with quality towels, toiletries, and the other amenities. The infinity pool has breathtaking sea views and is a great place to relax throughout the day. Breakfast is selected the evening before and brought to the suite at the time you choose, laid out with fresh local Greek specialties. Housekeeping was friendly and discreet, keeping everything in order. The town center is only 350 meters away, so Chora is easy to explore on foot while still having peace and privacy. We highly recommend booking directly through the hotel’s official website, where you can get in touch with Mike, the owner. He’s friendly and easy-going too. For luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in Astypalea, this is a wonderful place. We can’t wait to return!

We were upgraded to a suite, and it was worth every penny. This is simply the best property on the island. It’s in the heart of Chora, with complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the port, and the local beach is an easy 20-minute walk away.

Maria and Mike are among the kindest people you could meet, and our beautiful suite looked even better than the online pictures. Breakfast each morning was top notch, and we had a wonderful stay. The boat trip is a great perk, so definitely book it. If you’re heading to Astypalaia, stay here. Highly recommended!

Our suite at Grandemar Suites Astypalaia made the island feel magical, and we really felt at home. Maria and Mike were fantastic hosts, always happy to help us and the whole group we were travelling with. They also helped us find things to do, and we had a wonderful day trip on their boat. We’d return to Astypalaia any day and stay in this truly luxurious villa again.

The villa was one of my favorite parts of Astypalea. Waking up there and relaxing in such a beautiful place was lovely, and if I could live there, I would. It’s under a five-minute walk from the town center and easily the most stunning, luxurious place to stay on the island. Mike owns and manages the villa, designed and built each suite, and also has a beautiful boat he charters to guests. The Aegean spots on the boat trip are breathtaking. I’d stay here again, 10/10. Great accommodation, location, service, cleanliness, and amenities!
