The owners are a lovely couple, and it was a real pleasure to meet them. We had nice conversations about life on the island, and they gave us helpful tips about what to see. Our studio, “Calipso”, was newly renovated, very spacious, and had an amazing view toward Chora and mills. If standard hotels aren't your thing and you want to breathe in the island's authentic atmosphere, this is a great place to start. It really feels like home.

Leonidas welcomed us with wine and sweets, the first time a host has done that for me. He was friendly and always ready to suggest places to eat and beaches to visit. Breakfast had a good variety, including homemade items, and the quality clearly matters here. The room was just like the photos, tidy, clean, and with a great view of Astypalaia’s Chora(center). It's a quiet spot overlooking the center and port, and a first-time visitor can get to the center in 8-10’ on foot. I recommend staying here, and if I visit the island again, I'll stay with Leonidas “Astropalia”.

The owners were so kind and always available to help, and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a spacious, comfortable place that looks very new, with everything well equipped. The location is excellent and the views are beautiful. It really couldn't be prettier. If you're in Astypalea, don't hesitate to stay here.

Leonidas was so nice and made sure to take care of all our requests. He prepared breakfast every morning. The room was very big and comfortable, and the view was amazing. The location is perfect for exploring the island, a great starting point if you're coming to asty!
