Orestis Hotel Apartments

We spent five days here working remotely and enjoying the beauty of Crete. Even though our plane landed late at night, Nassos made check-in really easy and smooth. The rooms were very clean and had what we needed, plus two balconies with a great view. It’s quiet at night, and with a terrace on each side of the building, we could catch a refreshing breeze without turning on the AC. There are two Taverns right across the street serving great local food. The location, room layout and especially Nassos’s hospitality will bring us back on our next trip to this beautiful island.

The hillside setting made it peaceful, with lovely views over the mountains and Chania town. We had a huge room, about 95 square feet, and a big balcony. Nassos was amazing and helped with anything we needed. There’s an outdoor pool, and Nassos also provides breakfast and lunch. Three local restaurants are just a couple of minutes away on foot. A really relaxing place for me and my two children, aged 9 and 12. I’d highly recommend it for families.

We found it clean and welcoming, with very friendly staff who gave us useful local tips and information about things to do nearby. It isn’t a luxury place, but it suited our family, including children over 12. We’d booked an apartment with a sea view. The location is quiet, about 1.8 km from the beach and away from the noisier areas. There are three tavernas within a three-minute walk if you want to eat nearby.

A lovely quiet area for a relaxing holiday, and the rooms were clean. Nassos was a fantastic host. One of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we’ll definitely return to Orestis hotel.
