Hotel Rihios

The restaurant served tasty food and had a good range of choices. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, and the hotel is in an excellent location. Some rooms could use refurbishment to make them more comfortable.

The kind, polite staff and the very good location were the bright spots. But after a good stay here six years ago, we came back with a baby and found the quality had slipped. I wouldn't recommend it to a family with a small child. The rooms are cramped, with tiny closets and bathrooms, and ours was full of mosquitoes. There was no separate balcony, so there was no privacy outside the room, and we could hear people shouting at the door at any time. For seven nights, they changed the sheets only once, on the second day. That's unacceptable for a beach hotel. Breakfast had a few options, but was the same every single day. The hotel's beach area was also very dirty, with cigarettes and other rubbish everywhere. I don't know who is responsible for cleaning it.

The room was tiny, with 1970s furniture and a toilet almost under the shower. There were no shelves in the closet, so we had to keep our clothes in bags. We were very disappointed. With two small children, these conditions were a disaster for a family.

This is our second visit, after first coming in 2023, and we hope to return next year. The staff are friendly and even helped me with some Greek lessons. I really like the food, especially the fresh fish and delicious pork steak. I have a very sensitive stomach, so that matters a lot to me. There are lots of families with children, and they all play together in the pool.
