1900 Athenian House

I didn't feel safe or respected here, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Reception was never staffed, and the cleaning woman who gave us our keys didn't speak English, so communication was difficult. While we were out, she entered our room without permission, handled our personal belongings, and accidentally threw away an expensive pendant. There was no Do Not Disturb sign or other notice to keep staff from entering. It was a very disappointing experience.

My friends and I felt very safe, and there were good shops and great restaurants a short walk away. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the systems in place worked well, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel was very clean and well located, with good breakfast and good staff. Arsanious was especially kind and supportive.

We arrived at night to find no one working there. The room keys had been left out on the counter beside a note with the wifi details and a '24hr helpline' number. The lobby felt very sketchy and didn't look like the photos. Our room had no keycard in the socket to turn on the electricity. We checked the room and lobby and couldn't find one. No one answered the helpline or the hotel's email, so we spent the night in the dark and left in the morning. I can't comment on the rooms because I couldn't see anything. The service was terrible. This place doesn't deserve 4-stars, and I wouldn't recommend it.
