The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with good-sized bathrooms, and they’ll keep your luggage after checkout if you’re heading out later. The hotel is a small boutique place on the edge of Plaka in central Athens, with tourist spots easy to reach on foot. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby, along with a grocer. Some rooms look straight onto the Acropolis. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was excellent value. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

The rooms are comfortable, though they aren’t luxurious. We found the location really convenient, and the friendly people at the entrance helped us with everything.

I left after the first night, even though I was booked for two, because I didn’t sleep at all. The room was dirty, with stains on the bed sheets, a broken toilet seat and a bathroom door that wouldn’t close. Noise came through from the street as if I were outside, and I could hear the other rooms too. I complained to the establishment and asked for a refund for the night I didn’t stay, but they refused. This hotel doesn’t deserve its stars. At this price, book somewhere you’ll be better looked after.

The rooms were comfortable and had good air conditioning. The best part of the hotel, though, is the location: about five minutes from Syntagma Square, Plaka and Monastiraki, right in the city centre.
