They let us into our rooms before the 3pm check-in time because they were ready, which we appreciated. The hotel is small and has two little elevators, each for three people. Breakfast was fresh, well presented, and more than adequate. Staff were attentive, including when we asked for a glass of cold milk for my two year old grandson. It’s very well placed for Syntagma, Monistiraki Square, Plaka, the Acropolis, and other major sights. I’ll stay here again when I’m in Athens.

We were six travelers and the hotel accommodated all of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was surprisingly quiet. Plaka and its sights and activities are very close. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

It was a great base for exploring Athens, with the airport metro very close by in either direction. The temperature was the main drawback: the rooms, lobby, and breakfast room were all very warm, and we couldn’t adjust it. Breakfast was okay, but the choices were limited and the Greek yogurt wasn’t to my taste.

George was kind, easy to reach, and a big help with arranging taxis, explaining local customs, and keeping our bags for us. Thanks so much to Achiles and George! The hotel was roomy, clean, and close to everything.

We slept really well here. It was quiet at night, the rooms were clean, and we were close to plenty of attractions. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome.
