Aeolis Suites

The host really pays attention to what guests need and makes an effort to arrange it during the stay. I appreciated that a lot. The property is close to the Acropolis, in a lively neighborhood. I've stayed in fancy places in more than 30 destinations around the world, and I'd highly recommend this one to anyone visiting Athens. I'll share a longer review later.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with elegant interiors that made it feel like home. I also appreciated the stocked fridge and the good quality dishes and cutlery. Rania was warm and very helpful throughout. It's right in the heart of Plaka, next to the lively Pandrossou Street Market. From the windows, you can see the historic ruins of the Early Christian Tetraconch and tourists happily taking photos, which was entertaining to watch. There are a few things to know. There's no elevator, and two flights of stairs can be a struggle with heavy bags. The WiFi was weak and could use improvement. Most seriously, there's no sign at the entrance. I arrived at 9:00 PM and couldn't tell which apartment it was, even though I was at the door. I left two bags there and went across the street to ask a shopkeeper, who didn't know the place. When I came back, one bag with valuables worth nearly €2,500 had been stolen. Clear signage at the entrance might have prevented this. Despite that awful experience, I still think the apartment itself is wonderful and would recommend it. Make sure you know exactly where it is before you arrive, especially after dark.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat is beautiful, clean, and centrally located in Athens. It came with a coffee machine and other kitchen basics, and the host had left fresh fruit, drinks, toast, cheese, ham, honey, and jam. Our flight wasn't until late evening, so we were allowed to leave our bags there for longer.

Rania was a wonderful hostess and made sure we had everything we could need. The apartment is updated and well equipped, and it's perfectly placed for sightseeing. She even left snacks and sweets that everyone enjoyed. Great apartment and location.
