The neighborhood felt grimy, but the hotel itself is basic and does the job for a place to rest. Small, clean rooms have a queen bed and an attached bathroom with a hot shower. Maid service comes daily, and a good, unfancy breakfast is included.

A nice atmosphere, excellent breakfasts, and friendly, helpful staff made this an enjoyable, affordable base for sightseeing. It's near a metro station and tourist bus stops, with a great location for exploring Athens. The area has a folkloric character, but felt completely safe, with police patrols visible. When the nighttime noise from that “folklore” disrupted the quiet, cleaning crews could be seen working on the adjacent streets.

The hotel's condition and facilities fell below what I expected, and the neighborhood was very poor and didn't feel safe. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the stay and wouldn't choose to come back.

It was clean, but that was about it. We were told it was a 4 star hotel, though in reality it felt more like a 2 star, and the place wasn't as advertised.

The room was spacious, clean, and suitable for two, with a fridge for cold items. It also had a balcony, though the view wasn't good. I couldn't find the room heating, so it might get cold on a winter night. The toilet was clean and had a shower. Breakfast is €5 per person for a decent continental buffet spread. The hotel is right in the city center, with food options from breakfast through dinner nearby. The Acropolis is about a 30 minute walk, with plenty to see along the way, and the metro is about 3 minutes away for getting to other parts of the city. The graffiti around the area made walking outside at night feel dangerous.
