Anasa Hotel Athens

Less than a 5 minute walk from Monastiraki Square, and the location was wonderful. I stayed 9 nights at this lovely boutique hotel, with everything from breakfast and the view to the bathroom hand soap feeling thoughtfully done. The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in at a hotel. There's also a shop with goods made by Greek artists, where I bought a beautiful scarf. I hope I get back to Athens, and if I do, I'll stay here again. Can't recommend it enough.

The rooms are roomy and have what you need, and the hotel has beautiful, stylish design. It's right in central Athens for seeing everything, yet tucked away on a quiet hidden Street, which matters because Street noise is a real problem in Athens. Great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again.

We had a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, free water and tea and coffee in the room, and a TV with some English channels. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offered a drink when we arrived, shared good places to eat, and kept our luggage all day. The downsides were a cigarette smell in the room, a blanket that didn't cover our toes, and shower water leaking out of the cubicle into the main bathroom.

The rooms are small, as you'd expect at a city centre hotel, but they're nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, and every member of staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.
