Anthology of Athens, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World

After just one night, I felt as if I’d been there a whole week, in the best possible way. The service was impeccable from the moment I arrived, and the staff were amazing. The food was delicious, and the rooms and lobby were gorgeous. Everything was walkable from this fantastic location. If I come back to Athens, this is absolutely where I’ll stay again.

We loved coming back after exploring historic Athens to the staff’s warm, almost family-like welcome. Modesto, Theodore, and the front desk hostesses were always welcoming and gave us useful tips for each day’s plans. They were proactive about dinner, transportation, and general help, and ready for even the smallest request. The hotel is well located, with beautiful modern rooms decorated in lovely soft tones. We highly recommend it for the location, rooms, and especially the staff.

The New Year’s Eve dinner was exquisite, and the food throughout our stay was remarkable. Our room was elegant and spotless, with a stunning view, and breakfast was delicious, refined, and served perfectly. We spent three nights here over New Year’s Eve, and every part of the experience was outstanding. The staff and manager were highly professional, warm, and attentive. They remembered the details and took care of everything, making us feel valued and creating an atmosphere that felt like family. Hospitality here really is an art. We highly recommend the hotel and would gladly return.

The Dialogues with the hotel’s historian, Despina Iosif, made our stay especially memorable. It was entertaining and enlightening to talk about the past with someone so knowledgeable and passionate, with such a breathtaking view in front of us.
