Aristoteles Hotel

The staff were warm and spoke several languages, and they’d still bring out breakfast even if you arrived after the usual time. It was fine and enough to keep you from going hungry, though the same food was served every day. The hotel is a pleasant budget option at a reasonable price, close to the centre. I found the surrounding neighborhood disgusting. Keep an eye on your bags, as I felt immigrants and people with drug addictions might steal if you weren’t paying attention.

Our room had no real view, mostly facing other buildings or a crowded street. It was basic and dated, but everything worked. The hotel’s prices are competitive, and it’s close to Athens’ main historical and archaeological sights. The staff were good, and breakfast in the morning was quite tasty. The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe, especially late at night.

We had a good time here despite the neighborhood and the air conditioning, which wasn’t working very well in some rooms. The staff were amazing, some of the best people we’ve met.

Breakfast was the good part. The hotel itself felt quite old, with a lot of damp on the walls. The room doors needed fixing, and the room wasn’t very clean. The neighborhood was dirty and, I’d say, a bit dangerous too.
