Breakfast on the seventh floor was a real treat, with the Aegean Sea on one side and the Acropolis on the other. The buffet had plenty of good options, and the people at breakfast and reception were all welcoming and friendly. Our stay at Athenaeum Smart Hotel Athens was comfortable and affordable. The room felt spacious enough for three people, and the bathroom tiles and reception design gave the place a premium feel. Getting a cab was easy, too. It's right by the highway, so very light sleepers might notice faint traffic at night. Aside from that, everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but they arranged free parking in the lot right in front, which solved that problem for us. Breakfast had enough variety, and sitting with a view of the Acropolis was great. The reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were fairly large and comfortable. Our only real consideration was the distance on foot to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Apart from that, we had a good stay.

We paid a lot and expected to at least be comfortable, so the stay was really disappointing. It was stiflingly hot in the room, and reception initially just said that if the air conditioning was on, then it was working. They came up, realized it wasn't, and moved us at midnight to a smaller room where we could hear the neighboring toilets. The room itself was spacious and the bed comfortable, but that didn't make up for it. There's no restaurant on site apart from breakfast, so dinner means going out. The hotel isn't close to anything, which isn't ideal for tourists. Also, the lifts are only reachable by going up a flight of stairs, so it's not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The beds and the design materials were clean, and the hotel staff were very polite and nice. I arrived today and have had an excellent stay at a place close to the city center of Athens.

Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit and hot coffee, and you can watch the sunrise from the rooftop while you eat. It's also right by a bus stop, which is so convenient. The hotel is wonderfully clean, and the staff are helpful and professional. ✨😍😍❤️❤️
