The dining room service was very good, and the breakfast was tasty. The front desk staff were kind and tried to help, but the managers decide when the AC is shut off, so guests can't set the temperature themselves. We were part of a group of more than 30 and nobody got proper sleep during either of our two nights. There was no climate control, and the heat was blasting. The rooms felt about 85 degrees in the middle of winter. After people complained, they gave us fans and switched off the heat in our rooms, but the walls and floors kept radiating heat. The rooftop garden looked like it would have a nice view, but its door was locked because it wasn't peak season. The gym was tiny and had limited equipment. After traveling 24 hours to get there, all I wanted was a comfortable room and a good night's sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value those things. We have to return for the last night of our tour before another 24-hour trip home, and I'm dreading it.

The breakfasts were great, and the staff were patient with our large group. They managed to check us in early on all three occasions, which we really appreciated. We were here with our Globus tour and would definitely stay again when I return to Athens.

We came back to this hotel three separate times during our Greece trip. Each time, the rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly, and we really enjoyed both the restaurant meals and breakfast. I'd happily stay here again if we make it back to Athens.

The rooms were a decent size, and the location was okay if you can look past Athens' rough infrastructure, with its broken sidewalks and all the graffiti. Gate 1 chose this hotel for our tour, and it seemed like group tours were constantly coming through. Good for the hotel's guaranteed business, maybe less so for guests. Our key was sitting ready at the desk well before 3 PM, but they wouldn't let us check in until then. The front desk wasn't especially friendly or helpful. Breakfast was disappointing too: the scrambled eggs were watery and broken into tiny bits, and the bread and rolls were very dense.

The food was quite nice, and room service was quick and excellent. Staff in the lobby and dining area were friendly and happy to answer our questions. My wife and I stayed in August 2025. It wasn't a luxurious hotel, but it was comfortable, with clean rooms that were spacious enough for the two of us and comfortable beds. A great place to stay.
