The room was spotless, and the internet and TV both worked perfectly. The space felt smaller than it looked in the photos, with the furniture a bit cramped. Staff were genuinely warm and exceptionally helpful, and the location is excellent. If you’re choosing a room, check the details carefully: the ground-floor ones open straight onto the street, which felt unsettling at first, though we got used to it.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is the location, right in central Athens and close to everything. The street itself felt very shady, with lots of people on drugs, especially at night. It was dirty and felt unsafe. Our room was a joke. The superior suite had two mattresses on the upper floor, lying on the ground without proper beds. It felt more like a refugee camp. The room wasn’t very clean either, and we found cockroaches. At night, the noise was horrible. The walls seemed like they were made of plastic, and every sound from outside came through. We couldn’t sleep without EarPods or earplugs because people on drugs were screaming, cars were loud, and people were banging on doors. Service wasn’t good either. The guy who showed us the room wasn’t friendly and didn’t explain anything. The rooftop hot tub was only available for a high fee. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Good value, with all the essentials we needed. The service was great too, and Marios was especially helpful. Monastriaki metro is just a couple of minutes away on foot.

The location is fantastic, right beside the train station, so getting to or from the airport is easy. But that’s about it. The room felt like a private hostel room, with only the basics. The shower made me want to leave early: it’s so open that water gets everywhere. The towels looked dirty, and in Athens’ heat they supplied a top sheet, but it wasn’t as white as it should’ve been. It could get loud. I slept with noise-canceling headphones and white noise, and they also provide earplugs. You might want to bring your own towel and shampoo or body wash, or keep your stay to a couple of nights.
