BED in Athens

The hotel is set back from the main street, so even with its central location it was pleasantly quiet. My room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed using the Nespresso machine. I stayed one night in October 2025, arriving late after a long travel day. Reception is staffed from 7 AM to 7 PM, but clear instructions sent ahead meant getting into the hotel and room was no problem. The staff were kind, let me leave my bags the next day, and helped print some tickets I needed.

The loft was wonderful, spotlessly clean, and check-in went smoothly. The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was great, within walking distance of a metro station and lots of restaurants. They even provide earplugs. The noise nearby is what kept this from being a five-star stay. Music from another business or bar starts around 7-8 pm and gets louder through the evening. On weekends, you can hear the people too, and it goes on until 2-3 am. I hope they can sort it out soon.

You’ll find plenty of places to eat around BED in Athens, and the metro is close by too. The hotel itself is a cosy little boutique place right in central Athens, with decent facilities and a fridge that came in handy. There’s no breakfast served, but they give you a list of nearby bakeries and cafes for breakfast at your own cost. Checking in late was easy even after reception had closed.

Good value for the price, with a small, clean and tidy hotel and service that felt both personal and professional. I’d recommend it.
