Bedway Athens Hostel

The staff were friendly and very helpful, which was the best part for me. Getting around is easy, with an underground station about a four-minute walk away and a large Lidi supermarket nearby for most groceries. The hostel is well equipped. My room was quiet and each bed curtain gave guests decent privacy. The kitchen is on the small side, but it does the job.

The curtain gave me the privacy I wanted as an introvert, so I liked my stay at Bedway overall. The kitchen is well equipped, although there’s not much room left in the fridge. I didn’t mind the unisex bathrooms, since I’d rather not go up or down stairs to find a women-only one. The room isn’t locked, but with a large locker and the curtain that wasn’t an issue for me. There’s no recycling in the kitchen, which is a shame. Street noise comes through, and the dorm door wouldn’t stay shut unless I fiddled with its handle.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were great and very understanding. Clean place, comfortable beds. I’d happily recommend this Athens hostel if you’re after a relaxed, friendly stay. Thanks again!

I ended up extending my stay, and I’d definitely return. The room was clean, there was a locker and an elevator, and the kitchen had good equipment. There are two supermarkets nearby, and the reception staff were kind, friendly and helpful. I also had a blast with lovely guests from around the world. One older guest from Ukraine was grumpy and kept picking fights with and bullying Asian guests during my stay. I felt she should have been asked to leave from the start. C'est la vie.
