Bob W Eolou Hotel

The location is great, and they were kind enough to give us anniversary gifts, which we really appreciated. Still, for the price, I don't think the stay was worth it, and I probably wouldn't return. Getting the digital key was a frustrating start. I found the whole AI setup absurd, and my parents struggled with it because technology isn't their thing. We didn't get checked in until 5 pm. They did offer a later checkout than usual. The sheet had a stain, and one of our towels was dirty. They don't empty the bin unless you ask. When we raised these things, they explained their sustainability approach, but to me, cleaning isn't a sustainability issue. Reusing towels for 2-3 days is fine, but at this room price, I'd expect daily cleaning. Breakfast is served at a café downstairs. The food was good, but the staff were rude and the service poor. I wouldn't pay for breakfast; there are plenty of other good brunch spots where you'll be treated well.

Food, clothes, music, luggage, gifts, bars, and even a seamstress are all nearby, and most places felt affordable. There's also a lovely fish market, cheese shop, and coffee shop close by. Monastiraki square and the train stop are a five-minute walk, and the Acroplis is about 15-20 minutes on foot. Nearby street construction may close some sidewalks. At night, you can hear a bit of restaurant noise until 1 am.

Bob W Eolou is right in the center, so it was easy to walk to the main sights and enjoy Athens. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable, with quality amenities. I especially liked the 19-69 Capri cosmetic sets, a small detail that gave the stay a more premium feel. Contactless check-in was quick and smooth, which made arriving easy. The place was beautiful and felt modern, fresh, and well cared for. Afterward I liked the Bob W concept enough to stay at Bob W Avangarde in Tallinn too, which confirmed my impression that the brand keeps a high standard across different cities. I'd definitely stay with Bob W again.

A smartly arranged, clean place in a central location, and good value. It shares some areas with the restaurant next door, and the location means there can be noise until after midnight. It's a decent alternative to a traditional hotel if you can do without things like a gym and breakfast.
