Housekeeping kept everything tidy and clean throughout the day, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was filling and high quality. The location made getting around easy, close to two different metro stations, with Syntagma square just a five-minute walk away. I had a great stay at Jumelle and look forward to coming back.

The hotel’s charm and lovely location made up for a couple of room inconveniences. There weren’t electrical outlets on both sides of the bed, and there was no closet for storage, which is why I took a star off for the room. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very polite, attentive and happy to help, and their dinner suggestions were excellent.

The only confusion we ran into came from Apple Maps. Coco-Mat Hotel Athens and Coco-Mat Hotel Jumelle are only a few hundred metres apart, and Apple Maps puts Jumelle at the Athens location. Once we figured that out, everything was perfect. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with great AC and one of the best showers we’ve had while travelling. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh-pressed orange juice, eggs cooked to order and honeycomb. The whole place felt clean, modern and welcoming. We’d recommend it and would happily return.

The neighbourhood has plenty of character, especially if you want to get away from busy streets or more touristy areas. It made a great base for seeing the city. The rooms were clean, the staff were extremely helpful, especially Paolo, and breakfast was good. The bar’s underrated too, a nice place to get a drink before heading out for the night.

A lovely little boutique hotel right in central Athens. The rooms are small but cleverly equipped, and the beds are really comfortable. Staff were super friendly, and breakfast was excellent.
