Connect Suites

We found the apartment clean and spacious enough for four adults. The power went out at one point, but even late at night the staff were helpful by phone and got it back on. Heating was the issue: the air conditioner was the only source, and it wasn’t running when we arrived, so the room stayed very cold for a couple of hours. The neighborhood didn’t feel very friendly. A street a couple of blocks away had lots of homeless people, and I wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night. Still, I’d recommend the apartment as good value for money.

The rooms at connect suites were spacious, neat and beautiful, and all the amenities worked fine. There are lots of restaurants and attractions nearby, and it’s in a good location. The directions for finding the apartment and getting into the building were clear. The lift was quite small, so I had to take my luggage up in several trips. It was a very good experience.

The bed was so comfortable, and the price was great. We picked this apartment because we had a concert one metro stop farther away, and it worked perfectly. There are lots of nice restaurants right nearby. The place was clean and tidy, with a fridge and microwave, and the bathroom was big enough for the three of us. The roundabout and neighborhood can get pretty noisy, though, so light sleepers might not get much rest. Our friends stayed in one of the other apartments and theirs wasn't as noisy.

We booked four nights because Booking.com said there would be a separate bedroom and living room. With a baby and an elderly family member, we needed those separate spaces, and had paid for them. Instead we found a dingy studio that didn't match the description at all. The linen box in the bed was filthy, and the A/C wasn't working properly, so we were sweating on a hot summer day. The owner was dismissive when we raised it, refused a refund, and didn't help us find somewhere else to stay. It left us in a really difficult spot. Misleading listing, dirty conditions, and an uncooperative host made for an appalling stay. I'd urge others to think twice.
