The host, Andreas, was quick to answer questions and shared useful local tips. The apartment was clean and cozy, and being close to everything made it easy to get around Athens. I was there on a business trip, and the stay made it more memorable. Had a great time, and I'd recommend it.

We chose the cheapest ground-floor flat at the back because we wanted value and expected to be out sightseeing most of the day. It did the job for that plan, though I think being awake inside for more than a few hours might have made it unpleasant. The bed was comfortable, the place was immaculate, the air-con and shower both worked well, and it felt secure. But the immediate area is run down, with steps in every direction, so it won't suit people with mobility issues. There was only one window, in the bedroom, and none in the bathroom, kitchen, or second room, which made it feel dark at times. The wiring and plumbing worked, but had plenty of odd-looking patch-up jobs in strange places.

We liked the apartment and I'd recommend it. It worked well for two couples, and it's five minutes from the Olympic Stadium, 15-20 minutes from the shopping streets, and 30 minutes from the Acropolis. Getting in means using stairs. The bathroom could use a few improvements, like a curtain and towel holders.

UNACCEPTABLE! They confirmed our booking the day before we arrived, then canceled it just three hours before check-in without contacting us. We were already on our way, so had to find another place at the last minute, and it cost more. We'd paid for the booking and had to come up with another €150 for the replacement apartment while waiting days for the original money to return. In response to their reply: I booked the day before arrival, they confirmed, then canceled three hours before check-in. If rooms are listed as available on Booking.com, the booking time shouldn't matter. They never contacted me to ask about a late check-in to give them time for maintenance. Instead, Booking.com told us the reservation was canceled while we were already on the way to Athens. And because they didn't like my comment, they threatened me through Booking.com direct messages.
