Downtown Suites by Athens Tower

The hotel actually called me before arrival to say my room was ready much earlier than the usual check-in time, in case I was nearby. That was a first for me. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and the hotel was in excellent condition and good value for money. It’s right in central Athens, about a two minute walk from the metro. That’s very convenient unless you need to have a car. Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to booking again.

The front desk is in the Athens Tower Hotel around the corner, and they’re very helpful. The room was very clean and serviced daily. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The location is excellent, right by Monastirakiou Square, with the Flea Market and lots of places to eat, drink, and shop. All the tours we booked, including the Parthenon, were within walking distance. I’d recommend the hotel and would happily stay again.

My room was small, but it was well furnished and very clean. The directions with my reservation confirmation didn’t include the entry code, and there was no reception or staff member on duty, while the door was locked. I used expensive phone credit to call, but got no reply. A nearby street vendor sent me to the main athens tower hotel just around the corner. The staff there were really sweet, very helpful, and gave great customer service. I got in.

Chris and Maurinos were amazing and accommodating, thank you! The bar upstairs has great views, and the hotel is right in the heart of Athens, close to shopping and an easy walk from the acropolis. I’d definitely come back.
