Emerald Hotel Athens

A cocktail at the hotel bistro gave me a nice break from exploring the city. The garden G&T was amazing, and I watched the last episode of The White Lotus while bossa nova played. The welcome drink when we arrived was a lovely touch, too. What made the stay special were all the little details: the dental kit, makeup towel, soft linens, hollow fabric pillows, and finally a hairdryer that was strong and, dare I say, professional. The room scent was tender and discreet, Jo Malone. I’m sure a lady had a hand in the design :-) Everyone we met at the hotel was so polite and professional, and it felt genuine. It’s a cozy, stylish new gem in the city centre. If you appreciate life’s small, simple things, don’t hesitate to visit Emerald in Athens. We’ll be back :-) Dear Emerald team, keep up the good work. We really enjoyed our stay at the Emerald. The location was great, and breakfast at the cafe next door was lovely. The coffee was a particular highlight. I'd highly recommend it.

Breakfast at Yphes was a real treat each morning. The menu had plenty of variety, and everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Each guest gets two different dishes from the menu plus coffee or fresh juice. The staff were kind and attentive, responding to requests quickly and with a smile. The location made it easy to reach Athens' main neighborhoods and historical sights on foot. The hotel is just one street from the Ermou pedestrian zone, so we were close to everything while still enjoying a quiet room. Our room was spacious, spotless, and refreshed every day. It had a wardrobe, sitting area, safe, Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules, free bottled water and snacks, and a minibar with other drinks and treats for purchase. The AC worked flawlessly. The bed was large and comfortable, with supportive feel, soft sheets, and excellent memory foam pillows. The bathroom had plush towels, a rainfall shower with constant hot water, and premium toiletries. The newly opened Emerald Hotel Athens has lovely design, high-quality furnishings, high ceilings, elegant decor, and careful attention to detail. It gave the place a quiet luxury that made us feel relaxed right away. For the service, location, hotel quality, and included breakfast at Yphes, the value was outstanding. Emerald exceeded our expectations and made the trip special. We'd wholeheartedly recommend it and will stay again on our next Athens trip.

Everything felt ideal, from the high ceilings to the luxurious furniture. The room was brand new, with high-end style and attention to every detail. It’s rare to find a place that gets it all so right. If you can get a booking and are weighing it against another five-star hotel, I’d strongly recommend staying here. I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised.
