Ether Loft Suites

George, the owner, was easy to get hold of whenever we needed him. We were a family of four in the Aer suite, and the loft was clean. Ether Lofts is also really well placed for Athens attractions and close to a metro station. It’s on a main road, but nights were still quiet. We had a very good stay this past August.

Thissio station on the M1 Green line is about a minute away, and the Acropolis is a 15-minute walk, so the location worked really well. Our host was pleasant and helpful, staying up for our arrival after 21:00 and letting us check out late, which we really appreciated. This is a small boutique place with only a few themed rooms. We had Ignis, the fire loft, with two large double beds that slept four comfortably. The bed in the roof loft felt like its own separate room, apart from the downstairs bed beside the terrace. Each sleeping area had a TV that could screen-share from personal devices. The bathrooms and kitchens were very well equipped, though the kitchen had no oven. That wasn’t much of a problem with so many good cafés and restaurants nearby. Comfortable, clever accommodation.

George was a great help, and the room was comfortable and really nice. There’s also a restaurant and bar attached. The Acropolis is an easy walk up the hill, with plenty of shops around too. I’d stay here again.

The apartments look modern and are decorated really well, and the central location is great. But the noise from the large street next door was awful. It felt like sleeping right on the road, so bring earplugs. The flat also doesn’t keep sound in well, and you can hear people talking. The air conditioning made odd noises every so often.
