Fab New Flat in Central Athens w/ Acropolis Views

The standout feature is the huge balcony on Level 7, with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and greater Athens. We spent plenty of late afternoons and evenings having drinks there with friends. The early morning sun is great if you want to tan, and it's private enough to be in your swimmers. The smaller Level 8 balcony has even better views, somehow, and is lovely for a drink and a quiet evening. We stayed for two weeks in May 2022, during spring, and Herve was a fantastic host. The two-level penthouse is in a modern new building and is professionally furnished and styled. The kitchen was well stocked and had a huge dining bench, though with so many great food and drink places just minutes away, we ate out most of the time. The bedroom shutters blocked the light well, which suited our siestas and late dinners in the May heat. The subway is about 200 m away, and we used it regularly. It's efficient, clean, and convenient, and the airport line is a bonus that avoids dealing with traffic. We hope to come back in winter to experience the nightlife around Gazi and Kerameikos.
