Figleaf Kypseli

The room was great, with a kitchenette and a good shower. Someone even came in each day to wash the mugs, which was a nice surprise. There’s no dining at the hotel, but lots of places to eat nearby, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s a great central spot. The main downside was the nighttime noise from the busy road outside. They supplied earplugs, which was thoughtful, though I didn’t find them comfortable to wear all night.

The room was the highlight for me, spacious, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The host’s hospitality made the stay even better, and they went out of their way to make things run smoothly. Getting an early check-in was a big help and showed how thoughtful and flexible they were. I had a wonderful time at Figleaf Kypseli in Athens and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you want a clean, comfortable place with a welcoming host, this is it. Five stars!

The location wasn’t the best, but it was only a 30-minute walk to the main square, so it wasn’t a problem. There were plenty of cafés and little shops nearby. The room was modern, with comfortable beds, a great shower, and a 4K TV. Building and room codes came by email, and the gentleman working there was welcoming and helpful.

Kypseli is a lively area with plenty of nice spots nearby to eat or sit down. The owner and staff were very nice and ready to help if needed. Check-in and checkout were easy, with no hassle, and there’s a locked room where you can leave bags after checkout. The room had A/C, which was great because it can get hot in the day and a bit cooler at night. I also really liked the soft lighting from the bathroom mirror lights. The bed was comfortable, and there was enough space to do yoga in the morning. It was a very pleasant stay.
