Furla Apartments Athens

The apartment itself was lovely, new, clean, and very spacious. It was easy to reach management and check in, and they let me leave my luggage in the room hours before check-in, which I appreciated. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the lift made carrying bags upstairs easy. But the noise was awful. Check the videos I left with the sound on. There was some kind of construction on the other side of the bedroom wall, with drilling that shook everything and then a high-pitched drill. It happened off and on for hours, and waking up to it was TERRIBLE. I needed to sleep that morning and was so tired. There wasn't a frying pan in the kitchen, which made it hard to cook 90% of the food I'd bought. Also, a resident in the lobby accosted me. She was rude and aggressive, and it was quite terrifying. She demanded to know who I was and ordered me to show I could shut the door properly. That was unnecessary and inappropriate.

The building is very neglected and smelly. At night, homeless people and drug addicts sleep at the entrance. The price is very high compared with nearby apartments and hotels, which are cheaper and at a much higher level. Mrs. Furla doesn't respond to messages, and the stay can't be canceled.

The host gave us plenty of good suggestions for activities and places to go, and was great. We loved the room and everything around it, especially the location. It does get a little noisy at night, but playing some music or something would block out the sound for sure. We had a fantastic stay here.

We were very happy staying here for five nights. The room was really clean, and you can walk to Athens' main sights, including the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Plaka, and Ermou. I highly recommend it!
