The location worked really well, with the subway and other public transport close by. The sheets were changed every day and always felt fresh, and the bed was comfortable. The TV was decent, though it couldn’t cast. There was a patched, unpainted hole in the wall, which wasn’t a big issue, and the bathrobe had a few spots on it so I didn’t wear it. The receptionist was very pleasant and professional, easy to talk to, and the main reason I’m giving five stars. She was helpful and pointed out places we might visit. It's good.

The rooms are tiny, and the ones facing the street get a lot of noise. Still, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was superb. There’s a rooftop bar with a view of the Acropolis, plus good neighborhood restaurants, a Metro station and public parking nearby. Plaka is an easy walk from this nice boutique hotel.

Having a cocktail at ZALE with a view of the Akropolis, then enjoying a meal that surpassed all our expectations, made this a 10 out of 10 stay. The hotel itself was beautiful, with luxurious rooms, attentive staff and a very good breakfast.

The worst part of our stay at Heritage Hill, Athens from Oct 1st to Oct 3rd 2025 was the front desk interaction on Oct 1st. My wife and I asked for help explaining an issue, but the woman working there was rude and disrespectful. She told us, “If you both keep talking at the same time I won't help you,” then picked up the phone and more or less ignored us. We were asking for assistance, not complaining, and I can only imagine how she’d treat an upset guest. Hospitality means treating guests properly, and she shouldn’t be in this business if she can’t do that. Other parts of the stay were good: the hotel was clean and well located, and our room was very clean and nice, though extremely small as expected. Breakfast had lots of variety and was fantastic, and the barista serving coffee was great. We were surprised that the Zale restaurant on the hotel's 8th gloor didn’t serve real Greek dishes beyond a “decostructed” Kleftico made with beef ribs.

My wife accidentally left her bag, with her wallet inside, in the room after we checked out. The staff found it and got it back to us right away, with everything in the wallet intact. That was wonderful of them. We had a great vacation at this lovely hotel: it was very clean, new and peacefully decorated. The breakfast buffet had fresh food, lots of variety and plenty to choose from. Restaurants, bars and the major sights were all within walking distance. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful day and vacation. I highly recommend it.
