Ionia

Ioana was so lovely and even helped us add more nights because we weren't ready to leave. We loved the island and the hotel. It's right in Skopelos town, though a street away from the busy center, so it stays peaceful. The pool is gorgeous, with a bar tucked under a big shady tree, and the room terraces lead straight to it. Breakfast was better than we expected.

The location is great, just a stone's throw from the port. Rooms are spacious and clean, the pool and bar area are beautiful, and the staff are amazing and always ready to help. I'd highly recommend staying here and will definitely book another trip.

Hotel Ionia is well placed, a short distance from the town center, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We spent three nights there last week. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the shower was awkward, and the pool area was nicely kept. For the price, it was good value. I did find the WiFi unreliable, which doesn't feel acceptable these days, and breakfast was too basic for us. In Greece I expected fresh orange juice and fruit rather than tinned peaches.

We spent two weeks here in June and I'd happily come back. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the beach, with shops, bars and restaurants close by. Staff are warm and helpful, and everything is spotless, with fresh linen in the rooms each day. Breakfast is a cold buffet, and the pool bar has simple cold snacks and drinks. Some rooms have full or partial sea views, and there's a decent car park for hire cars or motorcycles. Air conditioning is included; you can borrow a hair dryer from reception for free, and lock boxes cost 1 euro a day.
