The rooftop is superb, and the location is awesome. The two jacuzzis are perfect when it’s not too hot. WiFi was a bit choppy, and the bathroom felt very basic for the price. I think it’s a great hotel for a first visit to Athens if you’re only staying one or two nights.

From our room at Herodion Hotel in Athens, we had a priceless, unique view of the Acropolis. We spent a wonderful Easter weekend there, just a short walk from the archaeological site and museum. The hotel is elegant and beautifully decorated, and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of sweet and savory choices, including delicious Greek specialties. I highly recommend it for an unforgettable stay.

We spent our honeymoon at the Herodion Hotel, and the welcome from the attentive staff made it unforgettable. The rooftop hot tubs were a lovely place to relax in the evening while taking in a stunning view of the Acropolis. The hotel is excellently located just steps from the Acropolis Museum and metro station, and breakfast was superb, a delicious start to each day. We’d highly recommend the Herodion Hotel to anyone visiting Athens.

We could see the Acropolis at night from the tub area, and from the rooms at the back of the hotel too. The place feels modern and very well looked after, and the American-style breakfast may be the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. The staff were incredible, and the location made it easy to walk to the Ancient Agora, Plaka, the Acropolis, the Roman Forum and more. The Acropolis Museum was about a four-minute walk away. From the Acropolis metro station, it was maybe a five-minute walk to the hotel after arriving from the airport. There’s a laundromat about four minutes away, and Key Tours is around a ten-minute walk if you’re planning day trips. I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel is on a quiet street without much traffic, and it’s an easy walk from the Akropoli metro station. My wife and I stayed for close to a week in November 2025 on our first trip to Athens, and we enjoyed it very much. Our Superior Room with a terrace was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with open shelves and plenty of space. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and the whole team, from reception and housekeeping to the breakfast staff, gave excellent service. Thanks to everyone.
