ibis Styles Athens Routes

We were really happy staying here. There are cute shops nearby and a supermarket downstairs, the Wi-Fi was fast, the AC worked well, and the bedding was very comfortable. The location is good, near central Athens and a six-minute walk from a metro station. By metro, the airport trip takes 40 minutes and costs 9 EUR. It can be a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the Greek salad, with a variety of classic Greek food and great pastries. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Chara, who was so awesome and welcoming. I’m sure I’ll come back next time.

The hotel was great value, with an ideal location and everything we needed nearby. Staff were so pleasant and helpful, and greeted us warmly with a smile. Our room was ready even though we arrived before check-in, which was lucky. For our 3:30 a.m. flight, reception arranged a taxi, and I really appreciated that they gave us breakfast packs to take along. ❤️❤️❤️

The location is phenomenal, close to the metro, bus stations, restaurants, and a supermarket. The staff were fantastic too. The room itself was only okay at best, though it was exceptionally clean. As a platinum member, I usually expect some extra service or an upgrade, but nothing was offered here, which was quite different from my other stays with Marriott platinum status. Breakfast was okay and filled the basic need, but wasn’t anything to get excited about.

The property was very clean, and the facilities were decent for a 4-star hotel, so the stay was acceptable overall. The pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable, and complimentary water wasn’t replenished on the second night. The main thing that needs work is guest service. Staff were generally respectful, but could use more training in hospitality and interacting with guests. During a busy spell, the woman at the bar politely told us to wait before we could even approach or be greeted, which didn’t feel welcoming.
