iFeel Athens

The staff were lovely, always smiling and checking that everything was okay. When our umbrellas were stolen at a restaurant, they lent us umbrellas for the rest of our stay. Each morning they also made coffee for us to take to the room, and soon remembered how we liked it sweetened. Breakfast was generous, too. We loved our stay, from the luxurious Acropolis suite and its wonderful Acropolis view to the great location. There are restaurants right below the hotel, and Athens' sights are only a few minutes' walk away. We'll definitely come back on our next visit to Athens.

The service was excellent, friendly, and always cooperative. We never got an angry response. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to, and there was air conditioning on both levels. Breakfast was included with the room, and we enjoyed every bite during our three-day stay. It was a treat to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day, looking out at the Acropolis. This is a distinctive boutique hotel in Psiri, a great area close to everything. The room was kept clean and tidy, and the bed was divine. Our bed was upstairs, reached by a narrow spiral staircase. We managed it as seniors, but anyone with mobility challenges might find the climb very difficult. I'm not sure whether all rooms have a second floor, so check ahead.

There's a brilliant atmosphere here at Christmas, and the location is right in the middle of everything. Monastiraki Square is a few minutes away, and Syntagma Square is about a five-minute walk. iFeel works as a street side and indoor bar for cocktails and coffee, as well as a boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly, especially Aspa, who served me several times. When they ran out of 500 mL Erdinger bottles, she gave me a 330 mL one for free. Highly recommended for a drink or two.

The breakfast was delicious and filling enough to keep us going, and our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. When an incident happened that was completely outside the hotel's control, they moved us to another room without any fuss. The staff were so friendly, each making a point of saying hello when we returned at the end of the day. My partner and I spent a week here and enjoyed every moment. There's a great choice of bars and restaurants nearby. The area is busy, but we found the noise wasn't too bad. I can't recommend this place enough. I'd give it more than five stars if I could, and I'll be telling everyone about it.
