There are evening spots, restaurants, bars, and clubs nearby, and the room itself was clean and had amenities. Psirri, a terrific area for cafes, bars, and shopping, is an 11-minute walk or one metro stop away, so this place is a little out of the way. Still, it's a great place to stay.

From Metaxourgio subway station it's just a three-minute walk, and the Acropolis and Parthenon are about ten minutes away on foot. The apartment is in the well-known Gkazi area, with lots of restaurants and bars. Very nice design, very clean, and the owner is friendly.

The hosts were amazing, and the apartment worked perfectly for me as a solo traveler. It gets almost completely dark even in daytime, which was great for resetting my jet lag. The area is busy and full of bars, so expect noise through the night, though that’s part of its charm.

Everything needed to feel comfortable was there, including all the utilities. The flat was modern, clean, and close to the city center. I recommend it.
