Mavrogenous - The Mansion

We stayed for several days, including Christmas, and were very happy with the place. The house was nice and had everything we needed. It’s also close to plenty of shops and cafes, and the hosts were very helpful.

We felt safe throughout our stay, and communication with the host was excellent. The accommodation is a good fit for a city trip if you’d rather stay in a typical Athenian neighborhood than right in the center. It has good amenities, public transport nearby, and sits on a traffic-calmed street. You can still hear the noise of Athens inside, though it’s easy to get used to.

This was my second Airbnb stay in the apartment, and my son booked it for me both times. It’s spacious, clean, and very nice. On my first visit it was impeccably clean and stocked with everything, including supplies, napkins, toilet paper, and hair dryers. This time the cleanliness and supplies left a lot to be desired.

You’ll find what you need in the apartment for a few days in Athens. The location is the weak point, it’s quite far from the center, and I didn’t feel very safe there at night.
