We were there for a week in August with my wife and three kids. For somewhere so central and close to the Acropolis, it was relatively quiet. The place is run very efficiently, and the team are serious professionals. There was food in the fridge when we arrived, including milk, break, butter, cereals, eggs, and other basics, which was thoughtful when we were exhausted and too late for shopping. Check-in and checkout use codes and a tablet in the flat, so there’s no key to lose or forget. Someone cleaned the place once during the week. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and they’d even provided an HDMI cable for connecting a laptop to the TV. The one thing I’d add is a washing machine in the flat. Everything else was perfect.

The small Sleepbox for one person was just right for a solo traveler, especially with the enormous shared outdoor space. It’s a brilliant idea for Athens’ climate, and the affordable price made it even better. There was a basket of food, water, and juice waiting in the room, which was a lovely welcome after a tiring journey. The hosts have great attention to detail, are extremely friendly, and are always available to answer questions. I also appreciated the rooftop workout gear, dumbbells and a TRX set, and the option to use the jacuzzi for an extra charge. The solar panels and sustainable building fit with my interest in eco-friendly travel. I didn’t have time to use the complimentary bike, sadly, but it’s a magnificent idea. If I visit Athens alone again, I’ll stay at Sleepbox and hope I can try cycling in Athens traffic.

I stayed at "Factory Living" and found it exceptional. The hosts are attentive and respond quickly, and everything was spotlessly clean. They run several really cool loft spaces professionally, with lots of individual touches that show how much thought went into making guests feel welcome. It had all the amenities and extras I needed for a short stay in Athens.
